Andy Horvat started “Air Management Services” (AMS) in 2009 after having been in the air handling & dust collection systems industry for more than 30 years. Today Air Management Services handle a wide range of clients from all over the U.S. and as far away as Honduras. Andy has been involved in the design and installation of more than 1,200 filtration and dust collection systems. This involves many industry applications such as textiles, paper, geochemical, tobacco, wood, plastics, and food industry applications. Many customers have told Andy that he has a unique ability to evaluate & diagnose air system needs and problems, and then provide efficient operational solutions. Being familiar with all variations of air system filters (to include conventional textile filters, cartridge collectors, pulse air/ pulse jet, and cyclones), selecting the best type of collector for a specific application is a critical part of designing for the best solution of any dust collection application and this ability is a strength for AMS. Also, Andy is well versed with NFPA requirements for explosion venting and suppression systems.
